Getting Started for Undergraduate Students

Welcome to the School of Physiotherapy! The first few months of university are an exciting time, filled with new friends and opportunities.

On-line Enrolment

• All applicants are now required to enrol on-line. Local applicants will receive an enrolment pack on Tuesday 15 January 2008, and complete their on-line enrolment by Monday 21 January 2008.

Orientation

• We encourage you to participate in the University's Orientation program, and sample what the many student organisations and services on campus have to offer. The School of Physiotherapy has its own Orientation program which contain some compulsory events. A program of events will be provided to you on enrolment day.

First Year Clinical Placements

• First year physiotherapy students commence fortnightly clinical placements in the second week of first semester.
• Plexus is the intranet for the Clinical Schools, and contains important information about physiotherapy clinical placements. Use your University email username and password to log into Plexus. Problems logging into Plexus?
• Compulsory requirements for first year students prior to commencing clinical placements include Immunisation, signing a Confidentiality Agreement, and obtaining a Police Check and Working with Children check. All first year students are also requested to check the Requirements for Clinical Attendance. (some of these docs are on Plexus, you will need a password to access them - see above)
