Vibeke Rostad

Vibeke was a student in the Master of Physiotherapy by Coursework (Musculoskeletal) degree in 2005.  

Knowing that the University of Melbourne is one of the highest ranked universities in Australia, this was a great choice for me.   Already from the first contact with the school I was impressed with the helpfulness and information I got.   The University of Melbourne is very professional in all things they deal with.   All our teachers are highly qualified and the best in their field and it is a great support system to help international students.  

The Master of Physiotherapy is a challenging and update study, with clinical work as a great part of the coursework.   I have developed new knowledge and feel more secure in my handlings as a physiotherapist.  

The University of Melbourne has a fantastic environment to be studying in.   It has a great location in the middle of a pulsating city with the best of arts, sporting and shopping in Australia.   All the facilities at the University of Melbourne are perfectly made for both social, sports and learning activities.

Of course it is difficult to be so far from home, but Australians have an open heart and mind and make you feel at home from the first day.   And in the class you meet more people in the same situation and make friends from all over the world.

I have learned a lot since I came here and am looking forward to bringing all my knowledge back to Norway.   The school has certainly lived up to its reputation!
