Jill Bisander
Jill was a student in the Master of Physiotherapy by Coursework (Musculoskeletal) degree in 2004. Ever since I graduated from my Physiotherapy degree in Sweden 5 years ago, my plan has been to come to Australia and do my masters. The research undertaken in Australia in Physiotherapy is highly appreciated worldwide. This makes a degree from a well- recognised institution such as The School of Physiotherapy in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at The University of Melbourne valuable back home. When first arriving in Melbourne I felt very welcomed by the staff and course coordinators at the university. Study here is very demanding but the School, Faculty and University provide the help and support needed to successfully complete the course. The course is well organised with practical tutorials and clinical practice taught with highly qualified supervisors / teachers in small groups - which optimise the practical learning. Melbourne as a city is easy to love and it is easy to feel at home. I shall miss it when I return home to Sweden. |
