2009 Places for Doctor of Clinical Physiotherapy

PhD scholarships in Physiotherapy
A number of PhD scholarships are available through The University of Melbourne School of Physiotherapy and its collaborative partners. These scholarships are across a number of research areas:
| Upper Limb Motion Analysis | Hip/Pelvis Control |
| Child Development | Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy |
| Women’s Health | Parkinson’s Disease |
| Functional Strength Measurement | Health Services |
Scholarships are for full-time study commencing mid-late 2008. Successful applications will be supervised by a panel of experienced researchers.
Applicants must hold an appropriate qualification in physiotherapy, medicine, dentistry, psychology, podiatry, a relevant field of science or related health science. Applicants must have achieved an overall H1 (80-100%) or H2A (75-79%) grade in the relevant honours or masters degree.
Successful applicants will be offered a $20,007 scholarship for only the first year of study. To lodge an expression of interest in these scholarships and for further details, please visit http://www.physioth.unimelb.edu.au

CONGRATULATIONS – NHMRC GRANT SUCCESS
The School did very well this year with NHMRC Project Grants. The following
applications were successful:

- Training dual task performance during gait in Parkinson disease - $371,000
