Professor Mary Galea is a physiotherapist and neuroscientist appointed to the Foundation Chair of Clinical Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne and Austin Health in 2001.

Prof Galea held senior clinical positions specializing in neurological physiotherapy prior to undertaking her doctoral studies. She is Director of the Rehabilitation Science Research Centre based at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre.
