Our Environment
The School of Physiotherapy thrives on a community environment. We are a school that is friendly and welcoming. This is reinforced by our interactive learning process, such as problem based learning tutorials and integrated clinical education in our own Clinical Schools. Many graduates have a continuing involvement with the School after graduation, either through further study or in their capacities as clinicians on staff at the affiliated hospitals and private practices.

Undergraduate students experience clinical placements, for varying lengths of time, in each year of their degree. Opportunities are available to undertake elective placements throughout Australia and overseas.
Research Environment
The School has a significant focus on research in many disciplines. Much of the research undertaken within the school is collaborative with clinicians or other academics, which allows staff and students of the school to branch out in different directions.
Part of the Profession & the Community
Students and staff of the School of Physiotherapy have a significant involvement with the physiotherapy profession and its community from the beginning of their time here. The School enjoys close working relationships with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Australian Council of Physiotherapy Regulatory Authorities (ACOPRA) and World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT).
